Samsung to unpack a new smartphone at IFA, I9250 perhaps

Samsung just published the video teaser for their Berlin Unpacked event that will take place on the eve, before the IFA 2011 kicks off. The video obviously points at the announcement of a new device and from what we can tell it should be the rumored Android-running I9250.

From the way people are holding the device- women are using both their hands, while the guy that's talking on it has placed two of his finger on the back - it becomes obvious that it is somewhat larger than your regular 4-inch phone. Yet it's still small enough to be held next to your ear while talking, so it's obviously not a tablet.

If you have been keeping track of recent rumors you'd know that Samsung supposedly have a device in the works that fits the description quite well. Of course, we are talking about the Samsung I9250, which should sport a 4.65" Super AMOLED of HD resolution (yeap, that's HD as in 1280 x 720 pixels).

This should also be Samsung's first foray in the world of Android Ice Cream sandwich. As far as latest rumors have it, the Samsung I9250 is only expected to hit the shelves in the 48th week of this year, which spans from 28th November to 4th December. Yet, Samsung usually announces its flagships a couple of months before their market availability so it's not inconceivable that we'll get the chance to see the I9250 for the first time at the IFA 2011 that starts on September 2nd.

And, with the successor of the 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab also expected to be announced at the German expo, we are certainly in for a nice time in the first week of September.

Mobiado Grand Touch offers Android experience to the rich

Mobiado has been around for quite some time now, establishing itself among the premier makers of ultra luxury mobile phones. With its latest creation, dubbed Grand Touch, the Canadian company adds, for the first time, an Android device to its portfolio.

As you can probably tell from the picture above, the new Mobiado droid is no other but a Google Nexus S, which has gone through some serious gold treatment. Using the Google phone should give Mobiado a relative edge on the market for ultra premium Android devices, because Tag Heuer and Ulysse Nardin’s offerings are certainly not up to date in the software department.

The Samsung made device has gone through a serious visual transformation including 139 carats of sapphire crystal and 24 carat gold plated body which has been CNC machined. The device’s buttons are also made from sapphire crystal. You also have the option of having inlayed crystals in the corner facets of the droid, should you decide that it might look too plain.

The device will be available in yellow or rose gold options. In case you are on a budget, you can have it in aviation grade aluminum as well, or just make do with a plain Google Nexus S.

There is still no information on pricing, but we suspect that the Mobiado Grand Touch will not come cheap. Hit the source link for a couple of more pictures and tell us how you like it in the comments section below.

Samsung Exhibit 4G review: Droid on display

The Samsung Exhibit 4G shares a lot of its internals with the Samsung Galaxy S – one of the best Android devices to come out in 2010. It packs a smaller, 3.5” AMOLED screen and lesser quality camera. The Exhibit 4G does however, offer Android 2.3 Gingerbread and access to T-Mobile’s ultra quick HSDPA data network. Add all these ingredients in a small, good looking package, and you have a recipe for a great mid-range smartphone these days. Now, let’s see what else the Samsung Exhibit 4G has to offer.

Key Features

  • 3.5”, 16M colors, AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 480x800 pixels resolution
  • 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, Hummingbird chipset
  • Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz UI
  • Quad-band GSM and dual-band HSDPA support
  • Wi-Fi calling enabled
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot functionality
  • GPS with A-GPS connectivity; digital compass
  • 3.15MP autofocus camera with LED flash; front facing camera for video calls
  • D1 video recording @ 30 fps
  • Video player with DivX support out of the box
  • microUSB port (charging); stereo Bluetooth 3.0
  • microSD card slot (up to 32GB; 4GB included)
  • Accelerometer and proximity censor; ambient light sensor
  • Web browser with Flash support
  • Smart dialing

Main Disadvantages

  • No camera shutter key
  • Low still shots resolution and D1 only video recording
  • The all plastic body feels cheap
  • The back is prone to scratches
  • No FM radio

As you can see, the package which the Samsung Exhibit 4G offers, comes straight from last year's top of the line devices, save for the camera unit. Its performance is no different either, and the price has been nicely adjusted so it looks like a pretty good deal. With Gingerbread on board, the device is up to date in the software department as well.

Motorola Defy+ gets officially announced

Today has surely been one busy day for the folks at Motorola Mobility. Shortly after their company's acquisition by Google became news, they found some extra time to announce their latest droid in their already colorful lineup - the Motorola Defy+.

As the name of the device suggests, the Motorola Defy+ is closely related to the original Motorola Defy, which we came to know well. This time however, the device got a number of updated features, which are bound to keep it attractive throughout 2011.

The most notable changes in the Motorola Defy+ are the new 1GHz CPU, Android's latest Gingerbread 2.3 OS, and a larger 1700mAh battery. Interestingly enough, the Google OS is still dressed in MOTOBLUR.

The device has gotten even tougher than its predecessor and can prove it by a certification for covering the IP67 water, dust, scratch, and drop resistance standards. In plain language, this means that the device will handle any normal daily use and abuse without breaking any sweat. How far it can go in this department, we are yet to see.

The Motorola Defy+ will launch in Germany first, with a retail price of €269 - not a bad price for a rugged droid with practically no alternatives at the moment. Hit the source link for the full PR and tell us how you like the new Moto in the comments section below.

New Windows Operating System

We see the argument on television and we debate it with our friends and family. What’s better: PC’s or Macs? The argument often comes down to ease of use, program compatibility, security features, and often times personal preference. If you are on the PC side of the fence then you have no doubt at one point or another used a Windows Operating system. Your average PC user probably knows enough about this operating system to navigate it for day to day use but probably never utilize it to its fullest potential and is unaware of its potential in the business world.

What Windows 7 Offers

Over the years Windows have evolved through several different incarnations. Every time a new version is released there are number of improvements, additions, and revisions of old applications. Some of these new additions can bring new ease when it comes to operating the systems and other times for novice users can cause major headaches. Windows latest edition, Windows 7, is what Bill Gates called “user-centric” as it offers many improvements and additions that older models did not offer. One particular function that is especially useful for office situations is the DirectAccess function. This function allows for seamless intranet connectivity to other DirectAccess client computers when connected to the internet. This lets users remotely access websites, applications, enterprise shares without having to use VPN (virtual private networks). This also allows for administrators to manage remote computers outside the main office buildings. This can be done even if the remote computer is not connected to a VPN.

For Some it’s a Standard

As one of the big market companies it is not surprising that Microsoft Windows is in widespread usage. While some companies may prefer other operating systems, such as Mac, other businesses are giving Windows 7 a chance. This increase in sales has been favorable for small business especially. That is not to say that big companies are ignoring this though. It is actually quite the opposite as large companies such as BMW, T-Mobile, Del Monte Foods were all involved in the early testing of Windows 7. So many companies showed interest in testing this new operating system that Microsoft had to turn a number of them down.

Everyone Needs a Hand

With any new operating system being put in place it is crucial to have a tech support staff that knows how to troubleshoot any problems that may occur. While Windows 7 may be what Bill Gates calls “user-centric” he does not state that it is “user-proof.” Even if a system is user friendly it does not mean that it is impervious to user error which can sometimes cause major problems. Also it is important for technical support to be able to explain many of the changes that have been put into place with Windows 7. There have been several major changes to Windows 7 that many older users may not be accustomed to, many of them having to do with regular navigation processes. These changes have to do with the elimination of classic start menu interface, taskbar features, Windows Explorer features, and more. This may complicate people who are unfamiliar with the new operating system.

Intelligent Web Design

Intelligent Web Design

One industry that is expected to expand over the coming years is the web design industry. This is because of the Internet’s profound impact on the world, how it is viewed, how we communicate, and its potential for business opportunities. Everything we see on the “net” has been programmed and built by talented and well trained web designers and programmers. This is true for any site. Employees from this field are essential for any company that is looking to capitalize on the marketing opportunities that the internet offers.

Not to be confused with…

Often times web designers are confused with graphic designers. While these professions do have some overlapping areas they are distinctly different from each other in a number of ways. Graphic designers almost always focus solely on visual design. This is geared more towards advertising and marketing designs. While web designers also work with visual designs for sites this is not the only area that they have a hand in. In addition to the visual work they are trained and educated in how to manipulate code like ASP, .NET, Java, Java Script, and others. Web designers, as their name suggests, focus on constructing actual websites and the functions that are needed such as search bars, navigation panels, and other mechanics.

Tools of the Trade

Programmers and mechanics are a lot more similar than they may care to admit. While mechanics have a chest full of tools at their disposal to use to work on cars a web designer must also have a wide array of tools in order to build or overhaul website. Just as mechanics are trained to work with hydraulic lifts and power tools so too must the web designer be trained in the programs he will be using on a daily basis. These programs range from graphic design programs like Adobe Photoshop to web developing applications like Dreamweaver. Web designers also have to have a strong understanding in programs such as web editors like HTML, word processors like Microsoft Word, video and audio editing software, and programs such as Flash.

Advantages of Web Design Training

There are many advantages to be gained from becoming a web designer. The main advantage is that as long as there is an internet there will be a market for web designers. This offers a market that is almost ever expanding and evolving. Another advantage of being a web designer is working as a freelancer. This affords a person the opportunity of working with many different clients and in some cases allows for programmers to work out of the house rather than in an office. Web designers, in conjunction with graphic designers, offer endless possibilities for marketing and advertising. They allow for companies to expand their reach from a local or national level to an international scope.

Is it for you?

Not all people may be interested in becoming a web designer but this specific career offers a stable work environment because of the demand for programmers. The average salary for junior web designers is somewhere in the range of $30,000 and $40,000 a year. Senior designers on average earn $61,000 to $67,000. As the web expands over the years so too will the demand for web designers.

Apache Way of Web Server Software

If you have ever seen the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey then you probably remember one of the most notable moments in the beginning of the movie where man’s early ancestors learned the value of tools. Now what does this have in common with something like web server software from Apache? Well, nothing in the literal sense but were it not for Apache the World Wide Web might be a little bit different from what it is today, stuck in the mire of a primitive limbo. Just as early man learned the value of ingenuity and tools so did Apache help the internet blossom into the great structure it is today. Not only does this software offer high-end performance capabilities and a viable alternative to earlier software it is also capable of operating over a number of different OS platforms and wide range of customizable features. This flexibility places it in the upper echelon of software products.

What is Apache?

Apache is open-source web server software that had a profound effect on the early development of what we know today as the World Wide Web. In a time where the only other option was Netscape Communications Corporation, now known as Oracle iPlanet Web Server, Apache stepped into the ring as a viable replacement. In fact, Apache became so popular since its emergence that it has become one of the most widely used web server software, servicing an estimated 63% of all websites.

What it features

Apache offers a number of features to backup its credentials which come in the form of compiled modules which expand upon its existing core capabilities. These capabilities come in the form of security and authentication modules, sever-side programming languages, URL rewriters, and custom log files, features that allow for configurable error messages, graphical user interfaces, and many more. Perhaps one of the most important aspects to Apache is its SSL (secure socket layer) and TLS (transport layer security). These are cryptographic protocols that facilitate for information to be securely transferred over the internet. These are commonly found in programs such as web browsing, online chatting, email, internet faxing, and more. These are not the only functions and modules that Apache offers to its users. Apache supports over 170 first party and third party modules. It is because of this wide array of modules that makes Apache flexible and functional masterpiece.

Cross-platform and customizable capabilities

Being one of the most widely used web server programs Apache boasts a wide range of cross-platform capabilities with a number of different operating systems. Apache is able to run on Unix, GNU, FreeBSD, Linux, Solaris, Novell NetWare, Amiga OS, Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, OS/2, TPF, and eComStation. Due to this capability Apache has become one of the most widely used web server programs. This, in addition to its open-source nature, has made it popular amongst the online community. In addition, because Apache’s source code is open to the public it allows for problems and bugs to be found and remedied. This facilitates a safe, stable, and reliable system.

Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510

Samsung’s QWERTY messengers have not exactly been setting the world on fire. They have done well though to set the scene for this one. The Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510 follows on the heels of Omnia and Corby. It puts Android in a time-tested form factor and is ready to entertain upgraders coming from dumbphones and PocketPCs alike.

Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510
Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510

Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510 official pictures

The Galaxy Pro has a clear objective – deliver the full Android experience, a good social package and hassle-free messaging. What does it need to meet those tasks? Well, a comfortable QWERTY keyboard obviously, possibly a touchscreen, enough processing power and at least some basic shooting skills to capture the important moments. Of course, a messenger is nothing without a proper OS and this is where the Android Froyo comes in. But let’s see what else the Galaxy Pro has to offer.

Key features

  • 2.8" 256K-color TFT capacitive touchscreen of QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) resolution
  • Full four-row QWERTY keyboard
  • ARMv6 800MHz CPU, 270MB RAM, 180MB of user-available storage
  • Android 2.2.2 (Froyo) with TouchWiz 3.0 UI
  • Quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G support
  • 7.2 Mbps HSDPA
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n with hotspot functionality
  • GPS with A-GPS connectivity; digital compass
  • 3.15 MP autofocus camera
  • QVGA video recording @30fps
  • microUSB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth v3.0
  • microSD slot (up to 32GB, 2GB in box)
  • Standard 3.5 mm audio jack
  • Accelerometer and proximity sensor
  • Document viewer out of the box, paid editing
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS
  • Light and compact
  • Smart dialing

Main disadvantages

  • The QVGA screen looks bad and limits the choice of apps
  • Portrait homescreen ported to landscape takes some time getting used to
  • QVGA-only video recording
  • No shutter key
  • No Adobe Flash support in the browser
  • No secondary video-call camera
  • No ambient light sensor
  • No dedicated video player app
  • No multi-touch
  • Android 2.2 Froyo, instead of latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread

It should be clear by now the Galaxy Pro B7510 isn’t your typical Android powerhouse for HD video, quality imaging or heavy-duty internet browsing. Gaming is out of the picture too. To be honest, the Galaxy Pro doesn’t quite make the grade as a BlackBerry competitor. To make up for it, it is social and friendly – and a great texter too. Virtual keyboards have been getting better but the Galaxy Pro’s superbly laid-out keypad is the prefect addition to Gmail.

So the Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510 it is and, although this is not the typical Android package, let’s hope the experience is up to scratch. With a handful of Samsung Ch@ts, Corbies and Omnia messengers gone almost unnoticed, we’re about to see if our Galaxy Pro here has what it takes to leave a mark. Our traditional hardware check-up is due right after the break.

Samsung Galaxy S i9001

It’s a Galaxy S facelift with just enough of a speed boost to make it 2011 ready. It has a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor and the latest version of Android: 2.3.3 Gingerbread. The Samsung I9001 Galaxy S Plus is heading to Russia under the name of Galaxy S 2011 Edition but will probably reach other markets too.

Samsung I9000 Galaxy S Plus official shots

It makes sense to play this card once again, with probably enough people willing to go for a flagship without busting the piggy bank. And the Galaxy S Plus is a flagship through and through, make no mistake. It’s just not this year’s flagship.

This one met a couple of dual core predators and lived to tell the story. It may’ve been a near death experience alright but the Samsung I9001 Galaxy S Plus has nothing to be ashamed of.

Samsung I9001 Galaxy S Plus at a glance:

  • General: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 900/1900/2100 MHz, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps
  • Form factor: Touchscreen bar phone
  • Dimensions: 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9 mm, 119 g
  • Display: 4.0" 16M-color WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) SuperAMOLED capacitive touchscreen, Gorilla Glass
  • CPU: 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor, Qualcomm MSM8255T Snapdragon
  • GPU: Adreno 205 GPU
  • RAM: 512 MB
  • OS: Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread)
  • Memory: 8 GB storage, microSD card slot (up to 32 GB)
  • Camera: 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with face and smile detection, touch focus; HD (720p) video recording at 30fps, front-facing VGA camera, video calls
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, standard microUSB port,
  • GPS receiver with A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, TV out
  • Misc: TouchWiz 3.0 UI, DivX/XviD codec support, built-in accelerometer, multi-touch input, proximity sensor, Swype text input

Samsung I9000 Galaxy S Plus live shots

An overclocked single-core chipset doesn’t hold a candle to dual core CPUs but the Galaxy S Plus will be held to a different standard. It was out of its depth in our latest shootout but – as far as we’re concerned – it did well where it matters.

By the way, we should note that we have on our hands a pre-release unit clocked at 1.2 GHz – the market-ready units will have 1.4 GHz clock rates enabled. Even at the lower speed though, the new Galaxy S Plus outperformed the year-old original in most tasks we tested. The speed boost is there – now, let’s see how much of an upgrade we can expect elsewhere.

Samsung Infuse 4G goes to Canada with Gingerbread flavor

The Samsung Infuse 4G continues with its North American invasion. This time, the 4.5" screen beast is on its way to Canada, after it has gone through a couple of major changes which are bound to make it even more desirable.

As you can see on the promotional picture from Samsung's Canadian website, the device is announced to ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread when it becomes available. A full HD camera recording is also listed, most likely as a result of the OS upgrade. This means that the Infuse 4G will be able to fully utilize the camera unit which it shares with the mighty Galaxy S2.

When we did our review of the AT&T branded, large screen handset, our two minor complaints were exactly the old Android version, and the lack of 1080p camera recording. Having fixed these issues, Samsung can rightfully claim (at least until the arrival of Galaxy S2) that the Infuse 4G is its true North American flagship.

There is no word on Gingerbread availability for the AT&T version of Samsung Infuse 4G. As always, we will keep our ears to the ground and keep you posted as soon as we find out.

How to Cheat Google AdSense

How to Cheat Google AdSense (and get your AdSense account disabled)
- by Fernando Hal

Face it. You come to this article probably thinking to find some ways to cheat Google, or to confirm whether some method you have on mind will work. Well, if you want to know how to cheat AdSense, here are the ways, focusing on the AdSense click-frauds. These covers from basic AdSense cheating techniques to the advanced class.

But before you proceed, you might need to know why you shouldn’t cheat Google (answer: you will get caught).

  1. Basic clicker cheat

This is a noob. This guy knows almost nothing about web technology or network architecture. He clicks on his ads every time he has chance. It can be a few clicks to hundreds of clicks daily. Most likely he doesn’t even read the AdSense Program Policies and Terms and Conditions.

  2. Proxy clicker cheat

She knows a thing or two about cookies and IP address. Or she doesn’t know, but somehow guessed that if she use the things called anonymizer, Google will not be able to trace her, because her identity is hidden. She may use anonymizer / proxy websites or specialized anonymous software like tor (The Onion Router).

  3. Multiple computer clicker cheat

He knows that somehow Google will detect if the clicks are originated from his own computer. So he will try to even out origin of the clicks. He will recruit his friends, family members, relatives, neighbors, his cats, and his dogs on single mission: to click on the ads. He will also click on the AdSense ads when he is using the library computers, or his office workstation.

  4. Software clicker cheat

Graduate to the next step is buyers of clickbots / click-bots. These are specialized robot software to click on AdSense ads. It will browse around your websites, clicking on the ads every few minutes. The more advanced ones will cloak the IP address too, so the website seems to be very popular worldwide. To cover the track, this clickbots will browse around the advertisers sites too while continuing its “click quest”.

  5. Paid-clickers cheat

If you don’t like automated things, there is always other option for you. Just pay $50 dollars a month to the professional AdSense clickers. These are groups of highly specialized Internet surfers with office in the dark rooms in street corners of India, Pakistan, and China, helping AdSense account owner to earn good amounts of money before the AdSense account is disabled, that is. They will browse around your websites, clicking on the ads every few minutes. Because they use human eyes, they know which ads worth more. And to be more convincing they can click a link or two, or sign up free offers / newsletters on the advertiser sites.

  6. Click-rings cheat

Network is power. So says many business gurus. Instead of taking things to their own hand, this people realize that they can join hands with those with similar goals and distribute AdSense clicks among themselves, the so called AdSense click-rings. Joining this click-ring network means that your website address will be made known to members, who will regularly browse the website and click on your AdSense ads. In exchange, you will also browse other members’ sites and click on their AdSense ads. The medium used varies. Some click-ring groups use mail-list for communications. Some are using bulletin boards/forum, Yahoo groups, or Usenet. IRC is another popular way. Slightly more complicated is specialized AdSense exchange software for collecting members website address and displaying others’ websites for clicking.

  7. Other medium cheat

I have tens of thousands email address on my newsletter subscriber list. If I include AdSense ads on my newsletters, with 5% CTR, I can get a thousand clicks per one email. Not bad. Or I can pay someone to write some useful/nice/funny/cute toolbars or firefox extensions or screensavers that people can download and use for free, and display my AdSense ads there.

  8. Visitor cheat

Simply putting “Visit out sponsors” or “Check out the ads above” on your website is cheating. This might not be very clear-cut cheat to some. But Google AdSense program policies has stated clearly, the only text allowed are “Advertisements” or “Sponsored List”

  9. Spam cheat

This is the highest level all click-frauds, the Maestro of Fraudsters. She spams millions of emails regularly, offering to “satisfy your inner needs if you can help me check on the links on my website”. Of course, email is not the only way. What IRC and instant messaging (IM) are for, after all. She will look for unsuspecting victims, offering something too-good-to-be-true “if only they will visit the website and click on the links”.

  10. Click-through-rate cheat

Whichever method(s) above used, there is one limiting condition: the CTR(click-though-rate). Any CTR that exceeds certain percentage (probably around 10%) will raise red flag in Google AdSense back room. To lower the CTR, the professional cheaters will create some pages on the same domain that attracts very high traffic. Some interesting freebies will sure do the tricks. AdSense code is pasted there, thus creating a very high page impressions. Whether or not the the ads are clicked does not matter anyway, because they are targeting low paying keyword that does not have much competition. The fake clicks are, of course, on where the big money is, the low traffic pages stuffed with high-paying keywords.

SEO Outsourcing Partner

Picking the perfect offshore SEO partner cyberspace reach is a necessity for most companies today. Similar with conventional commercial collaborations, the success of a great online partnership depends on how the SEO outsourcing specialist and its client can synchronize their business moves.

SEO companies have in part supported a lot of large corporations, start-ups, and small and medium enterprises with the necessary technical and manual support in the attempt to gain broader exposure in the internet. SEO specialization is easily comparable to advertising and copywriting, and is expected to fulfill most marketing needs. As such, SEO companies are normally seen to competently have at least a better understanding than the regular end-buyer when it comes to diverse market trends exclusive to their clients' industries. For instance, electronics SEO should have an inexhaustible source of fresh marketing strategies as the technology for the sector sophisticates and multiplies at an extremely fast rate. In entertainment SEO, consultants and practitioners should be familiar with the film, TV, and recording industries, such that they can bring the artists or the studios closer with their fans. They should also be able to ceaselessly stir up or never lose the interest of the general public.

Enterprises intending to outsource SEO should look for a progressive-thinking partner that can initiate and work at the forefront of every innovative strategy. SEO specialists should be able to ascertain the oftentimes instantaneous and sometimes fickle consumer sentiments and the consequential market's reactions.

Apart from marketing-related services, the alternatives should be narrowed down to third-party offshore consultants that can likewise skillfully meet the clients' technical demands related to white label processing and analytics support. Specialists should provide regular and scrupulous reporting of the requisite SEO data at all times.

Meeting these conditions should allow both parties to proceed to other tasks such as link-building, network growth, and reputation management, letting both participants measure their own growths and target revenue. Furthermore, companies can also choose to acquire the services of third-party SEO contractors that already offer B2B SEO in order to foster greater interest from volume buyers. Electronics SEO, in this instance, could completely capitalize on this specific approach as most electronics suppliers such as those in Greater China and India deal with volume buyers and large resellers such as Carrefour and Wal-mart rather than with the end-users. Outsourcing such tasks to good SEO specialists that can implement a trade-specific approach would be an ingenious strategy that can work well with existing marketing plans. In addition, offshore SEO outsourcing also enhances an enterprise's capital flexibility by being less constrained with large overhead outlay for in-house SEO personnel and tools.

The best offshore SEO partner for online endeavors should completely understand and recognize the appropriate products and services they can extend to their partners. At present, many SEO outsourcing companies can provide such dedicated services, which may be supplemented by other related white business products. Enterprises planning to take over the internet should not find it hard to stumble upon the right SEO partner.

Vital in Evaluating Success

If you are a business owner ready to boost sales or conversions online by embarking on a search engine optimisation campaign, make sure your SEO agency provides you with regular SEO web analytics reports. Don't spend money blind without knowing if your campaign is succeeding or failing.

An effective search engine optimiser will provide regular and clear SEO web analytics, highlighting what is working and what is perhaps not working as effectively as it should and will then make recommendations based on these results - so what should you be looking out for?

Using SEO Web Analytics Effectively

SEO reports can be confusing and it's up to the SEO agency or consultant to present them in a manner which is easy to understand - and there are some key things to look out for. Visiting trends will probably be the first important stats presented in a report. This shows how many visitors your website has had in the current month as opposed to the previous months and if your campaign is working, this should be going up.

Watch out for your top referring keywords, as they may surprise you - as much as you research the top keywords for your business, web user behaviour is notoriously hard to pin down. A good SEO campaign adapts and changes direction, and a decision to look at new query terms will often come as a result of the web analytics.

Referring domains are another important part of SEO web analytics, as they tell you where your traffic is coming from. Most will obviously be from search engines and any sister sites but some interesting insights can be found here - for example, if you start to see visitors from websites you are trying to build a link-building relationship with, then you know it's on its way to working.

A great SEO web analytics tool is the click path, highlighting how users are negotiating their way around the website. This can really point out how effective (or not) your site design is - if you see lots of users clicking through many different pages, all to end up one specific page, you know this can be improved upon.

The Million Dollar Question

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, are the conversion rates contained within the SEO web analytics report - are people doing what you want them to do on your site? After all, this is what all of the hard work is for. Are they clicking on the link, filling out the enquiry form, buying your product, etc?

If the SEO web analytics report is indicating no, then changes will need to be put into effect - maybe new keyword phrases researched, building new link-bait, implementing a new design, and so on. Your web analytics gives you the power to know what to action and when in what is a constantly evolving science.

What is Web Analytics

Web analytics is the process of gathering, measuring and analysing user activity and behaviour on your website. Web analytics software interprets raw user data and outputs meaningful tables, charts and graphs that can be used to fine-tune crucial areas of a website in order to achieve your online business objectives.

Web analytics can give website owners increased insight into how effective their landing pages are in convincing visitors to opt-in to a mailing list or purchase a product. As such, web analytics can provide crucial information that can help develop strategic marketing decisions.

There are three main reasons for using analytics:

  1. Support SEO Efforts
  2. Improve Usability
  3. Increase Accessibility

Support SEO Efforts

Search engine optimization drives visitors to the most relevant pages on your website. The concept is simple, similar to the way someone would use Yellow Pages to find an electrician, someone using a search engine to locate the products or services that you sell is highly likely to be in the market for those products or services.

What is your 5 most profitable keyphrases? What are your top landing pages? Which pages have the highest bounce rate? Web analytics is plays a decisive role in SEO. It lets you see where visitors are coming from, which terms they searched to find your site, which pages they land on and whether they hang around or immediately hit the back-button.

Analytics gives you the marketing intelligence, based on what works and what doesn't, to make informed SEO decisions. The SEO process becomes then feedback a bit like a feedback loop, getting better and better with every iteration.

Yet many companies fail to take advantage of web analytics, whether that's through time restraints, or they can't be bothered, or feel it's out with their technically skills. By improving the targeting and visibility of your website, you will increase your market share, raise brand awareness and extend product reach, all of which has a positive effect on the bottom line.

Improve Usability

It's relatively easy to publish a website, with today's WYSIWYG editors and Content Management Systems there is little requirement to gain a working knowledge of HTML. The potential audience is staggering, but that does not change the need to understand your audience. By understanding how visitors interact with your site you can help them achieve their goals quicker and easier. If your site "works" the way they do, the user experience will significantly increase and users will return time and time again.

Web analytics lets you see how visitors use and navigate your site. Are they struggling to achieve their goals? If they are, there is very little chance that you will achieve yours! According to IBM, every $1 invested in making your website easy-to-use returns $10 to $100.

Increase Accessibility

It's also important to understand the technology is the technology that is used to access your web pages. By making your pages accessible to older browsers, mobile technology and assistive devices, like screen readers, you can significantly reduce bounce rate because more people will be able to see your pages.

Web analytics will let you see which browsers (and browser version), screen resolutions, operating systems and more. Would you turn away customers from your shop because they arrived in the wrong type of car? No, then make sure you are not turning visitors away from your website because they use the 'wrong' browser.

If you are serious about your long term success online invest in web analytics. There may be a steep learning curve, but the payoff is huge.

Web Usability

What is web usability & why is it important?

Web usability is about making your website in such a way that your site users can find what they're looking for quickly and efficiently. A usable website can reap huge benefits on to your website and your business.

* Every £1 invested in improving your website's usability returns £10 to £100 (source: IBM)

* A web usability redesign can increase the sales/conversion rate by 100% (source: Jakob Nielson)

Your website has to be easy to navigate

Users have gradually become accustomed to particular layouts and phrases on the Internet, for example:

* Organisation logo is in the top-left corner and links back to the homepage

* The term 'About us' is used for organisation information

* Navigation is in the same place on each page and adjacent to the content

* Anything flashing or placed above the top logo is often an advertisement

* The term 'Shopping cart' is used for items you might wish to purchase

There are numerous other conventions like these that enhance your website's usability - can you think of some more?

Don't underestimate the importance of these conventions - as the Internet matures we're getting more and more used to things being a certain way. Break these conventions and you may be left with nothing but a website with poor usability and a handful of dissatisfied site visitors.

Pages must download quickly

Usability studies have shown that 8.6 seconds is the maximum time web users will wait for a page to download (source: Andrew B. King - Speed Up Your Site). As of March 2004 just 25% of UK web users had broadband (source: UK National Statistics) so it's essential for optimal usability that your website downloads quickly.

To speed up the download time of your website we recommend you do three things:

* Use CSS and not tables to lay out your web page

* Use CSS and not images to create fancy navigation items

* Read this article about how to speed up the download time of your web pages at http://www.webcredible.co.uk/speed

Information should be easy to retrieve

We read web pages in a different manner to the way we read printed matter. We generally don't read pages word-for-word - instead we scan. When we scan web pages certain items stand out:

* Headings

* Link text

* Bold text

* Bulleted lists

Did you notice that images were left out of that list? Contrary to the way in which we read printed matter, we see text before we see images on the Internet. For optimal website usability don't place important information in images as it might go unnoticed.

Restrictions must not be placed on users

Don't prevent your users from navigating through the Internet in the way that they want to. For example:

1. Every time a link is opened in a new window the back button is disabled. Approximately 60% of Web users employ the back button as their primary means of navigation (source: Usability Interface). If you do this then you're preventing 60% of your users from using their primary navigation - now that can't be good for usability.

2. Don't use frames to lay out your website. Frames can cause a number of usability problems, namely:

* Disabling the back button (see above)

* Bookmarking not possible

* Impossible to e-mail the link to someone else

* Problems with printing

* Users feel trapped if external links open in the same window

* Search engine optimisation issues

There are lots of other ways that websites can place restrictions on its users, ultimately damaging their usability - can you think of any more? Just think back to the last time a website really infuriated you - what annoying thing did it do to make you feel that way?

The Vortex Tube Made Simple

The vortex tube cools and heats air at the same time with no moving parts, and no electricity. Cool huh? It's quite simple, and only a matter of getting the size right! Not to mention the ability to produce temperatures of extreme proportions! All that is required is compressed air. Yes. with just compressed air the Vortex Tube will do its magic.

So, let's demonstrate two simple scientific theories through this Vortex Tube. Yes you read right, two principles in one magnificent device.

It all starts with temperature. Temperature in simple terms is the average how fast the particles are bumping into each other. Because it's an average, it means that air is composed of fast and slow particles. It's hot and cold at the same time!

How's it going to work? By utilizing our dear friend inertia! Which is defined as: "the property of an object to remain at constant velocity unless acted upon by an outside force?" Basically, once you get a boulder rolling, it's not going to want to stop. And trust me, it'll resist you changing its velocity! There are two things that make up inertia- mass, and velocity. More of either means more inertia.

Now imagine, there's a wall that curves 90 degrees. A boulder and ping pong ball is rolling towards it. Now, as you saw, the ping pong ball was just pushed away with ease. Now, say the ping pong ball was the same size as the boulder (but still very much lighter) and on the right instead of the left. The boulder would still force its way to the wall. If you had a steady stream of boulders and giant ping pong balls, and this was a circle instead of just a curve, it wouldn't be long before there were only boulders rolling along the wall, and all the ping pong balls were all pushed to the inside.

Now, one step further, now because inertia = mass x velocity, say you had lots of molecules of the same weight going around that circle. But some were moving really fast, and others slow, because the faster ones are moving much faster (and have more inertia), they'll push the slower ones out of the way. (Yes, just like the boulder and ping pong ball) and before you know it, there's the hot (fast) molecules around the edge, and slow (cold) in the center! And that's exactly what the inside of the Vortex Tube looks like!

To put it very simply all the Vortex Tube does is get those molecules moving in one so that the separation will begin! See the principle behind the Vortex Tube is very simple but the applications of the Vortex Tube is massive.

Vortex Tube Machinery

A vortex tube is a device that separates compressed air into hot and cold currents. The unit doesn't have moving parts, and provides a powerful separation and value of hot and cold air for industrial uses. Current models are capable of lowering the air temperature to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. French physicist Georges Ranque vortex tube invented in 1930.

Activities vortex tubes

The vortex tube works by forcing compressed air right into a chamber of generation. The air turns the camera to a high rate of speed on account of centrifugal force. The design of the rooms of the original two columns of air to form - each other. Air velocity can reach 1 million rounds each minute. The column of air inside is heated towards the external column. The external column of hot air can exit one end and the medial column of cold air is able to exit the alternative end.

Conservation Principle

The principle of conservation of angular momentum indicates the littlest vortex rotates in a faster. It doesn't occur. Instead the 2 vortices rotate in the same speed. The interest rate in the inner whorl have lost energy as heat. This will cause the vortex internal cooling and the outdoor hot to warm.

Air Temperature Control

Adjusting the quantity of air released from the hot exhaust air to manipulate the amount of cold air and temperature. This is depending on the proportion from the total released compressed air cold or hot exhaust. Optimum performance occurs at 60 to 70 per-cent of the total amount released by cold air. Enhance the flow of hot air will decrease the flow of cold air. Decrease in the cold air will result in lower air temperatures cold.

Simplicity Designs

Cost of operation of vortex tubes is quite low as a result of simplicity of design. The unit is fueled with the introduction of compressed air. There isn't any moving parts, electricity or chemicals was required to run the product, and for that reason there is no maintenance. Reductions in air temperature can be accomplished presently following the introduction of compressed air. Temperature fields at 260 degrees Fahrenheit to -50 degrees Fahrenheit can be acquired between the cold and hot exhaust.

Industrial applying vortex tubes

vortex tubes have a wide variety of applications. Can provide the cold venting for cooling the machining and plastic injection molding. Thermal testing can be executed about the sensors. Cold air can cool the operations in lines on location.

Automotive Applications

Studies conducted on the by using vortex tubes for automotive applications from July 2010. This application is perfect for cool drinks with air brakes on heavy vehicles. On vehicles that do not use compressed air, a vortex vacuum device was created making use of air intake manifold of the engine. Both devices are promising, with greater speed and temperature to cool drinks can be purchased on devices that operate on the vehicle's electrical system.

Even if the typical

Even if the typical web surfer does not stop to think about it, web designers already familiar with usability testing. Uses a label used to what most people consider to be user friendly. Although many of us have our own ideas about what we believe a user friendly, the truth is that we can not determine with ease. Like art, you only identify when you see it. Different from the art, the website should be simple to use as possible as readers of the website as much as possible. Being easy to use is an important element for an internet site that has a large community of web readers who come to the site every month.

In fact, the site traffic today highest general usability testing, and make minor repairs to the web page from time to time. When we conduct usability testing, we find some things that detailed. Web designers use a combination of web-based testing and laboratory-based testing to solve problems that require the majority of repairs.

Especially, we need to know if the reader was able to complete key work on the site, if we find any problems, and how easy it is for the reader experienced sites to learn about the site. These ideas are fundamental and usability testing what is most easy to find. But an additional element to the web site must be studied if we are to achieve the level of probable usefulness.

Does the website permit the reader to manage what we are doing at any given moment? Are the contents of the site offers what the user is looking for when we try to achieve our goals? Does the website look clean and attractive to the eye? At every point in the process of completing the task, is to tell the user all the data he needs? Does the site have the same settings on every page or whether it causes uncertainty? readers will be more likely to return to the site if the web designers are able to answer their ideas and improve the web site accordingly.

There are two main strategies to answer this question. One involves the direct assessment of the site to collect data when a user visits. Inviting users to the original lab and we pose these questions because we operate a website is the second method.

Because the user at home for testing web-based, information is collected more often than not is more natural. Because the collection of information automatically, it's easy to find things in the process where people ran into the error or failure. However, it can be tricky to understand the emotions behind the urge users because the information does not capture this feature.

By asking users to open, a web designer can explain this deficiency. A mediator can tidy ask people what we think or feel when we try something. But because it takes time to ask users directly, a large number of individuals who are relatively smaller. Understanding the Key Terms

When looking at cloud computing there are many industry terms being used which can be difficult to understand. Within this article the key industry terms are explored in relation to cloud computing and the terms are defined both in the respect of what the terms mean in general but also by what they mean to businesses.

Cloud Computing and the Cloud

The term 'cloud computing' is very broad and this term is often heard along with the phrase 'the Cloud'. In simple terms 'the Cloud' means the Internet and 'cloud computing' is about accessing a business's data, applications and software over the Internet. Therefore, all the IT services that a business requires can be accessible from a hosted service and businesses will no longer have to worry about having to invest in expensive infrastructure and IT systems etc. as they can access the Cloud environment for all these services. The Cloud environment is available 24/7 and can be accessed on-demand and when required through a business's chosen cloud computing provider. It is also the responsibility of the provider to fully maintain and manage the Cloud environment.

The hosted services that are provided by a cloud computing provider are often categorised by the different service layers which can be offered. These service layers are:

Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)

Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) means that only software is delivered over the Cloud. Businesses can access this software at less cost than paying for licensed applications because the fee of using the service is usually on a monthly on-demand basis. SaaS is also referred to as "on-demand software" and it should be remembered that both the software and data will be hosted and delivered over the Cloud environment.

Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) means that the platform that is required to run applications is provided over the Cloud. This therefore means that businesses no longer have to buy expensive IT hardware, install the hardware and ensure that the hardware is maintained and updated. This type of service will also include the updating of software as well as operating systems.

Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) means that the whole computer infrastructure is provided and delivered by the cloud computing provider. This includes servers, data centres, network equipment as well as other IT hardware and software. This type of service is like a utility that a business can tap into and businesses only pay for what they consume.

Within these definitions it is noticeable that there is an overlap between the definitions especially between PaaS and IaaS.

As well as these three different service levels of cloud computing there are also three different forms of cloud computing that focus on the security requirements of the Cloud. The different security options offered in the Cloud include:

Public Cloud, Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud

A public cloud is where a service provider makes applications and data available to the general public over the Internet. This type of cloud is often offered on a free basis and offers many advantages such as they are inexpensive to use. However, if the service experiences any downtime the user is unaware of when the service will be back up and running again.

A private cloud is where that the services and infrastructure that is offered is on a private network and behind a firewall. This means that the private cloud is therefore more secure than the public cloud but will mean that users will pay for this privilege. A private cloud offers the best type of security and is ideal for businesses who want to ensure the safety and privacy of their data.

A hybrid cloud as the term suggests is a mix of a business employing a cloud provider to externally manage some services and managing the other services internally. The hybrid cloud is popular as many businesses will have spent large sums of money on their IT infrastructure and will not wish to decommission them.

So, how do you cut through all the jargon in cloud computing and if you want to move to a cloud environment how can this transition be made as smooth as possible? The first thing that you should do is to look for a cloud computing company that doesn't baffle you with jargon and speaks plainly to you.
